Corporate Social Responsibility
Since 2007 we have developed 6 programs for corporate social responsibility:
At FUNDEVI, we are aware that successful institutions are those that not only achieve their financial goals but also align personal values of the employees with the corporate values, guiding them to live among a culture of commitment to society, especially with the most needed.
We continuously carry out social activities within the public health sector. We sponsor, among others: Honduran Foundation for Children with Cancer (Fundación Hondureña para el Niño con Cancer) and Solidarity Welfare Association (Asociación Benéfica Solidaridad), that tends undernourished children at the National University Hospital (Hospital Escuela Universitario).
We have constituted a permanent program of medical supply donations to public hospitals: National University Hospital (Hospital Escuela Universitario) and San Felipe Specialties Hospital (Hospital de Especialidades San Felipe), both in Tegucigalpa, Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital (HMCR) in San Pedro Sula, South Hospital (Hospital del Sur) in Choluteca and Atlántida Regional Hospital (Hospital Regional Atlántida) in La Ceiba.
This program has been implemented with the purpose of contributing to education in public schools through computer equipment donations that are no longer being used but remain in perfect working conditions.
As part of the solidarity efforts, we are present in emergency situations caused by natural phenomenon, supporting affected families with donations and social labor.
At FUNDEVI, we continuously recollect recyclable materials which are donated to charitable institutions that sell it to obtain funds.
As a civic contribution to our capital city, we periodically provide a new flag to the Honduran Armed Forces, to be raised at the Peace Monument in Cerro Juana Lainez.
At the request of cultural institutions, we also frequently donate office material which contributes to their performance.
