As part of FUNDEVI's Corporate Social Responsibility, we continue our "Identified with Health" program, through which we have made significant donations. Recently, we donated specialized medications to the Santa Rosita Psychiatric Hospital, located in the Amarateca Valley, Francisco Morazán Department. This center offers, among other services: Psychodiagnostic evaluation at the Psychiatric and Psychological levels, psychopharmacological treatment, crisis intervention, individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy, and a stress clinic.

Aware of the importance of mental health, FUNDEVI donated medication to the San Juan de Dios Psychiatric Hospital in San Pedro Sula, the first psychiatric hospital in the northern region of the country. The hospital, located in San Pedro Sula, provides care for people with anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, children with attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity, and family disintegration issues, among others.

That is why, since 2007, we have developed the program “Supporting Education,” with the goal of contributing to educational development. Among other activities within the program is the donation of decommissioned computer equipment from the Foundation, which can still be very useful for the education of children and young people from low-income backgrounds. We recently delivered 6 computers to the Francisco Morazán National Pedagogical University (UPNFM).

At FUNDEVI, in addition to our specialized work in social housing financing, we have been developing a Corporate Social Responsibility plan since 2007. This plan includes several programs designed to help address some of the most pressing issues faced by the population within our target market—comprised of fellow citizens with limited economic resources. Since 2016, our most important program has been “Committed to Health,” which involves special donations, primarily of commonly used medications, to major public hospitals and selected health centers nationwide—such as El Progreso Hospital in El Progreso, Yoro, where we recently delivered a batch of medications.
